As of close of business today, AirTran WILL once again have new hire class on August 12. Rumour is a class of 20, all going to the B-717. Phone calls started going out today. I assume that this is due to planned capacity growth as a result of our report today of a 2nd Qtr profit, and an overall profit Y-T-D. They stated that we will start service to definitely one (maybe two) more cities later in the year, and delivery of 12 more 717's by year end.
Remember that this class is on as of TODAY... tomorrow... we'll see.
