Hey guys,

I may be able to get my resume walked in to AirTran and I am hoping someone has a name to whom the cover letter should be addressed. I tried a search already but it didn't yield a name. If anyone has it, please share...

Thanks

If you have someone who is willing to recommend you and "walk in" your resume, then I would think they would know to whom your letter should be addressed.

"I may be able to get my resume walked in to AirTran and I am hoping someone has a name to whom the cover letter should be addressed"

Try:
Dear Mr. Forklift

Dear Forklift Joe

or

Dear Isuzu Joe

Any of the above will get you prompt attention. :D

It's Jill Nidiffer, she is the Pilot Recruiter.

Spoken like a true Idiot. I sure wouldn't trade CEO's with you.

We are growing at over 20% in the worst aviation market in history. By the end of the summer, the oldest plane here will be three years old, we are profitable, and we are announcing an order for 100 new Boeing or Airbus aircraft in the next few weeks. Our stock is up to what is was before 9/11 . . . . . sounds to me like Joe is doing OK, and he's not stuffing his pockets like some other CEO's.

"Spoken like a true Idiot"....and some other bla bla bla

Buddy lighten up a little please. It was just a joke. Are you that serious about the company you work for that you can't make fun of it? I have absolutly no problem if you crack jokes about the airline I work for and yes go right ahead and deface our CEO (past and current).

O and BTW, I was hired there 2 plus years ago and turned it down just like many others did.

Hindsight is 1000 times clearer looking into a rearview mirror. And I have no problem making fun of myself about the decision. Its only cash, "material possessions mean nothing to the navajo".

Well, material possessions might not mean much to the navajo, but being in the left seat of a B717 might. Or, if the navajo preferred the schedule of a senior FO, a third year FO could have 19 days off per month to hunt buffalo.
