Which is exactly why management should have just let the whole thing go to arbitration. If anyone had been pissed off, they'd be pissed off at an impartial panel of three arbitrators, rather than being pissed off at each other and management. SWA executives woefully mismanaged this whole process.
You really believe that?

You'd probably be looking at damn close to what you got if/when it was all said and done only we would all be a in a long protracted battle to get to the end of the road and hate each other even more.

You won't ever admit it so I'm not looking for it. We gave you way more of our seniority than you deserved and you think you got screwed. Kelly would've been smarter to really piss off 1800 instead of pissing off 5000.

Not too bright.

Agree with Room, if this had gone to arby, it would have been a bloodbath it it didn't come out as good as the mechanics DOH plus 4.

Mgmt played both sides perfectly to avoid an arbitrated result (which they could not control) that might have torn the group apart...smart move if you ask me...i know, nobody asked...

Comparing the Mechanics SLI and the Pilots SLI is a bit apples and oranges due to the upgrade thingy...just sayin

You are probably right. I expected you guys to storm your G.O. with pitch forks and torches like the French did when they stormed the Bastille if you guys didn't get what you wanted. Your "grass roots spontaneous" demonstration in DAL was the warm up.

Mgmt, did not want arbitration, their call...the deal is done

Kinda think both groups of pilots voted for not going to arbitration.

Agreed but mgmt was very involved in "steering" the groups...well played from their perspective

As for the comments that management missplayed this process. I disagree, I may not like the outcome, but there is a resolution far faster than many other processes in the industry. Resolution has value, what the resolution is will forever be debated by some, but for others they can start planning the their lives with the results of the process, rather than being in suspension for the results.
