I have flown recently with newhires from AAL (both TWA and not) USAirways and UAL. I have met NWA pilots in training, and hear that we have even hired a DAL Capt.

Well, wherever you are coming from, I hope you continue to have fun.

Thanks for the info. Are yall still actively calling folks? Just curious - the acquaintence I know who used to work hiring for yall said lots of times it took a while for the company to get to the resumes.
I'll have fun. I like the airline business :-)
When I am employed.

They have been running a class every three weeks, I think generally around 20 per class, some smaller. Last I heard, recent classes are 717, with 737 classes starting again in June.

As for turnaround time on resumes, I have heard everything from a few days to almost a year. They received several hundred resumes at the Air Inc. conference, so they are probably working on those right now.

I recieved a call last week, Monday 18 Apr. for an interview. Ms. Charles offered me the opportunity to come in either 19 or 20 Apr or the following week 26 or 27 Apr. I chose 27 Apr. I had someone walk my resume in and then did the online app. It was only about 4 weeks before I was called.

I am really excited about the opportunity and have done the Air Inc. prep session in anticipation. Any helpful comments and suggestions would be appreciated. From my research, this looks like a great fit for me.

The April 27 class has 22 new hires. Don't know the fleet breakdown for that class but if their is a choice, you will bid during the first 2 weeks. Have fun.

Does anyone else have a problem updating? When I enter my password and hit submit it sends me to the "your application has been completed successfully ..." page and I still can't access the application.

I was sent a new password but the same thing happens.

When I try to reply to the e-mail with the new password it is undeliverable.

Is there a help-desk number/e-mail?

See what happens when you "Make Kitty Scared"?? LOL!

I have a Checkride coming up in 2 weeks and when I go in I'm going to talk to S.G. directly and see if she can offer any direct insight on how to solve or get around all this IT B.S. that many people seem to have trying something that SHOULD be as simple as submitting or updating an online application.

I've said before, if you knew of all the IT problems this ompany seems to continually have..... it doesn't surprise me....

I'll post here what I find out.

Word from the top is that it can only be updated every 6 months. If it doesn't say that on there somewhere, it should.

Sorry you guys have been having problems with it. As FL717 said, our MIS Dept. will not be winning any awards anytime soon. Thankfully, they don't program our FMC's.

I got an email back when I emailed about updating the online app - the email told me to fax my updated resume and make sure my cover letter stated what position I was applying for.

After filling out and submitting my app last weekend, I seem to recall the message at the end stated that my app would be kept in the system for 30 days. Does anyone know if this is accurate?
If they only keep it for 30 days and we can't re-apply/update for 6 months are we in "no mans land" for that 5 months?
