Any of you AT guys/gals know how many pilots are transitioning per month and how many per class. I saw the 24 in March but was just wondering on the rest of the year. Also, how long are the bids open for the transition. I see a bid opened on feb 10th but did not know when the results would be out.

Thanks fellas/fellaettes

The current transition bid is open until 2/15 and has 2 SWA 737 FO classes of 24 each. Results should also be on 2/15. They're showing that the classes will be filled from the following "origin crew classes":

APR 11 Class

10 ATL 717 CA
10 ATL 717 FO
4 ATL 737 FO

APR 25 Class

9 ATL 717 CA
10 ATL 717 FO
5 ATL 737 FO

So 19 CA and 29 FO's will be in the next two classes for SWA 737 FO's?

Two classes of SWA FO for April. 24 pax each. Breakdown is listed above. Total of 48 tran to SWA for April, which is inline with the max number SWA crew plan said it could do per month. In addition 10 CA's and 10 FO's have a class for the 717 on the AT side on 2 APR.

That was actually the info I was looking for. Wondering how the transition on the 717 was shaking out with the move to SWA 737 FO.

AT keeping most 737 guys, because AT keeping 30-33 Aircraft for the next 12-18 months for INTL ops.
