I just did a trip into XNA (Fayetteville, AK) and saw an newly painted A320 in AirTran colors... did I miss an announcement?

Evidently. It's been discussed on this board at length. You can look here for some information. Or do your own search. Or check airtran.com. And if you're not interested in any of that, the airplanes are actually Ryan International's.
