Passenger drops trousers at MSP airport screening
July 14, 2004 SHORTS0714

Travelers are used to removing their shoes at security checkpoints at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, but one passenger took it a step further and dropped his shorts, airport police said.

Police said a security screener was waving a metal-detecting wand over Daryl Miller's pants area Friday when Miller pulled his shorts down to his ankles. He wasn't wearing any underwear.

Miller then said, "There, how do you like your job?" thus ending the screening, according to the police report. Airport police charged him with indecent exposure, and he was released after paying $300 bail.

"We've never had anybody do that before," said Lt. Matt Christenson. "But it's not abnormal for people to become frustrated with the screening process."

Miller did not return a phone message left at his home.

"This person exposed themself in a public area, a clear violation of the law, and we needed to take some action on that, otherwise everybody would be dropping their pants," Christenson said.

Hey, maybe the guy was the CA of a 121 flight trying to get to his scheduled flight?????

jarhead--No way that guy was an airline pilot--ever try going 'combat' in those cheap-ass uniform pants? ;) TC

Not even a UPS guy? All those "brown" delivery truck drivers have the 'shorts' thing going in the company uniform, why not airplane drivers?
