Be nice. A Volpar is not "freaky"

I have about 1,000 hours in one of those work-horses.

Unfortunately I had to work and didn't see the ER episode. However, I believe I had a friend video-tape the episode for me :)

It could haul a load of freight (and ice) and keep chugging along.

Hey I'm sure it is a great airplane.. (It is still a Twin Beech!)

Just an odd combination!

I had a buddy who flew it out of YIP he said it was an awesome freight hauler....

Yeah that ER plane (Volpar) is a good one...got a few hours haulin' freight in that exact plane. It is owned by a cargo outfit called -Kamaka Air - out of Honolulu flying interisland. They own that one, another like it and the taildragger version. The airport they are flying out of in the show is dillingham on oahu (my home airport). Funny i remember the day they were filming it but didn't realize it was for an ER episode.

I missed it

Had to work late last night. Is Kovac dead or not? What else happened?

He's alive. He was spared by a squad of assassins because...ironically...they thought he was a priest.

He's on his way home and Carter is staying in Africa...for now.

Just curious, but on the previews for last week's West Wing, when John Goddman said "I'm gonna bomb the he!! out of something"--was i the only one who hoped it would be ER?

Probably. :D If nobody liked it, it wouldn't be on the air.

E.R., The West Wing, and Enterprise are the only things I make it a point to watch anymore. (Lucky for me they're all the same night...)

Thanks for the info, guys.

Here's one.

A Beech 18 with only one tail... Sacrilege!
What company does these conversions? "Pu$$y Pilot Trike Conversions". :D ;)

Sorry for the wording, but it was just too appropriate.

I know you're joking, but there are people who think like that! "Anybody who flies with GPS is a pus_y. And VOR's too. And radios, airspeed indicators, and seat belts. C'mon, be a man!"

(Wouldn't the 747 have looked great as a tail-dragger?)

Hey - I have lots of friends who are non-tailwheel pilots!

Re. the belts, those are good to have. nothing like buzzing around in a Cub for 20-30 mins, leaning out the open door checking out the sights, then realizing your seat belt isn't latched! Doh!!!
