Question Airplane camping TENT recommendations?

I have a nemo dagger 2p tent, aka a 2 person tent, just me and my dog. I have yet to use it and I wonder if I should have chosen a larger tent just for the typical comforts of space we all enjoy these days. Weight obviously was my objective in keeping things light, only getting backpacker products. For those that have and do airplane camping, solo or with another, what tent is truly the better one to get when it comes to size? I'm thinking a 4 person tent may be something to compare in weight and size my 2p tent and if it's not much more why not just have more space? Like anything, if you don't enjoy it you won't do it.
