I have an interview coming up with Airnow and there is no gouge anywhere for them! Anyone with a past interview please PM or post here. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

dude..if your not smart enough to do a search on here for it you wont do well in the interview....sorry for the smart a$$ comment, but dumb questions get dumb answers

Ya buddy, I did a search and there is jack for an interview within the last year! If you call 2 or 3 sentences an interview gouge then I'm sorry for being a dumbass! I was hoping for a little more.

regardless: he's kinda right. airnow has dropped off the lists at both aviationinteviews.com and willflyforfood.cc sites. and theres not much on here lately but theres tidbits. i can guarantee you tho that its not changed much in the past 2 years. befor that tho it has. i havent been thee in 3....so some things are different. anyway, when searching here search for them since the beginning of time and youll find something more useful. however i can tell you theres some things to be sure about.

know how to do an ADF approach on a flight sim. know how to use an RMI. know how to fly an approach well. know how to do it confidently and not look nervous. know how to get along with people and not be defensive. know how to HELP the company. do NOT be defensive in response to anything that happens. they KNOW that youre there to build time and not be a lifer. its expected. if you say youre a lifer, they know youre lying. they expect you to be out of there in 2 years at a better job, they will actually ask why you havent left yet when 2 years comes along.. thats why youre there flying old planes at night. theyre there to help you get that time. use it. appreciate it. and if you get it...good luck. enjoy it while youre there. dont get caught up in politics, you wont have enough sleep to do that AND fly.

on here,
appilotNE posted a query about them on 8-18-04, alot of responses noted. some might help.

wha....what am i writing this for? ive got nothing to do for a while. cant believe i came out of FI retirement for this......oh well. hey take care. good luck.. get yo time. and what flying do you want to do after cargo? thats something to think about. if passenger flying is your bag overall, put in with a regional now. seniority lost is never gained back.

I use Firefox as well. Highlight text, right click, click "copy", go to Quick Reply box and use Control V...you're highlighted text will magically appear. This latest upgrade to Firefox still has some bugs I need to figure out but still...better than IE! (At least until Vista comes out...apparently IE7 is basically Mozilla's Firefox which is the old Netscape. What goes around comes around!)

Hey guy, well I have info on the interview that's pretty much about over a year old. Just study the FARs, alternate requirements, some what if scenarios....pretty much alot of the basic stuff, there's also a sim session....you'll do an ILS approach and probably an NDB approach. You'll do some climbs and descents, turns. Basically they want to check out if you have a good scan, and know the IFR rules. It helps if you know some 135 rules as well. They usually tend to ask according to your previous experience....I remember getting asked about communication loss, T/O alternates, some airport markings, ILS critical area hold short mins....I had some good amount of 135 stuff but then again, I had decent 135 experience. Good luck my friend, it's a good company. Like every other it has its issues, but you'll build some great turbine experience and make ok money while you're at it. I apoligize for all the A-HOLES here that take the time to respond with their usual "do a search" but aren't any help at all.

Thanks for the info Flybet3! Luckily the positive peeps like yourself on this site outweigh the negative ones. Thanks again!
