Lets see if i can help out a bit.
From what i understand the outlook is for 30 pilots this year... not much, but at least something. As far as equipment you are flying, well that all depends on the run you can get out of training. The odds are that you will have to take a multi run first and then bid into a van as soon as it comes open... of course that is if no-one above you bids it first. There is no set time to look at while trying to get a certain spot because you must wait for it to come open, and the only way it will come open is for the current pilot flying it to leave it. Now upgrade to Capt. in the lear is another story. Right now it is slow, very slow... and that is of course due to the rest of the airlines slowing down hiring. It looks like about 1 1/2 to 2 years right now to get to the FO spot on the lears, and then probably that same amount of time to the Capt. It is not a fast move anymore. Hope that helps.
