I figured as much, just have to stand up for some of my friends out there. For some reason, the further to the east you go in this country, the more of a wonder the west is to people.

Back to your question...the best thing to do at ANY company when you start is to lay low, talk with as many of the current pilots as possible to learn the ropes, and try to figure out who is safe to communicate things to. This goes for any company out there. As for training, study, fly the sim, study, fly the sim....and make sure you have a few relaxing breaks in there so you don't get burned out. Also, don't get your mind set on "aceing" training, rather just try not to make the same mistake twice and relax, it is TRAINING so mistakes will be expected in the beginning, but should be eliminated rather quickly for an experienced pilot.
