Why just those airlines?
So far they are the only ones that are in compliance with the TSA's regs.

What TSA regs? Do you mean CASS? Because the ARINC server has not been fully approved by the TSA yet. The test went well but initially it will be with ATA carriers.

They are the only airlines that we have a way of verifying the pilots employment status at this time (per TSA). We are going through all the airlines and setting something up with them. This is progressing very well, just not very fast right now. Hang in there, we'll get you back on in no time.

Update as of 1/26/04:

ACA, Air Tran, ATA, MESA, PSA, Shuttle America, Skyway, Southwest and USA3000

You also posted earlier Skywest, but I see Skyway, is it both or just one of them? Just curious.

Has their been an official memo about this yet?

One detailing who can ride now. You probably know from being based at CMH, but no information about this has reached the outstations. (I don't see CMH except for 2 times a year)

Those are official as of right now. They should be tomorrow on the memo tomorrow.

Skyway and Skywest are both on there.

Whats the latest on Airnet and acepting jumpseaters? I tried last week ad they said that as of then (4/24) that nobody was allowed! Even the companies listed above in this very post! What gives? Was it just a grouchy dispatcher that didn't want to help a brutha out or is there truth to this?
