Airnet Bases???

Few questions about the Bases at Airnet.
1. Any idea what prop bases are open
2. Which bases either have the Navajo or the Caravan?
3. Which bases have highest/lowest pay?
4. Which bases are a new hire most likely able to get the bid for?

It's really hard to say which base anyone will get until you get to class. The open bases change pretty much weekly.

As for pay, it depends. You can get a 4 night run that has 8 hrs of flight and 14 hrs of duty time and make about the same as a run that has 5 shorter nights.

As for the Navajo or Van, I really don't know them all. But I think Richmond, Bradley, Teterboro, Columbus, and Detroit all have both aircraft.

Some other van bases are St. Paul, St. Louis (I think), Omaha, Milwaukee, Memphis, and I think Birmingham has one or two. I'm sure I missed some.

Navajo's also in Buffalo, and they sometimes put one in Allentown, or its a Van. Also two Vans based in New Orleans. And recently put a Van in St. Louis too. Also one in either MKE or MDW.
Bases that come open often are TEB, due to the high costs of living, but i think some of the guys based up there have gone in together in a "Crash Pad" type living arrangement. With the Regionals about to gear up for some big hiring, you should see more bases open up, due to attrition.

Airnet Jumpseat....

Does Airnet have a jumpseat agreement with the airlines??? I'm a freight guy now, id love to work for them if I could go 'home' on the weekends.

1. the prop bases open always change, you will not know until you go to class, even then they will probably change before you bid.
2. i have no idea of the specific a/c bases except for vans in NEW and barons a lot of other places around here.
3. there is no difference between pay at bases... pay only depends on your duty time and hours flown, and days flown. This again is something you will have to see when you start to bid.
4. newhires are most likely to get whatever is available(not trying to sound like an a$$). Sometimes the NE, sometimes down south. Newbies have gone all over.
