Does anyone have a link to the FAA airmens directory, the one where you enter a name and it comes up with results based on that!

I tried searching but the only ones I find are "pay for" sites! Thanks

The Landings.com, AvWeb and others list name, cert., medical, etc
However they only list pilots with current medicals (except ballons and gliders). The FAA website lists all certificates ever issued including type ratings.

You have to give a name & address to access the database.

when just looking for people. you can try www.anywho.com as well.

pilotpointer.com near the bottom under misc. links there is FAA cert. pilot 1 and 2. they work well at no charge.
