I was just curious, were there any airlines that didn't shut down on Sept. 11th? What about the cargo airlines and the part 135 operators?

The entire U.S. Airspace system was shut down on 9-11 and it lasted for several days. I don't think anyone was permitted to fly unless it was military or lifeflight.

Air.net was flying the very next day, or was later that day. They had to fly the blood and medical equipment around.

I got bored and checked ntsb out. Other than the four plane nothing crashed. The next day some Other gov't plane went down. We had a PC-12 leave out of here on an angle flight mission. on the 12th
