Airlines that allow 135 js

Hey Everyone,


What airlines allow part 135 pilots to jumpseat/ride with their company??? I know the actual jumseat is off limits to non company pilots but most still offer a seat in the back. If you dont wanna list your company here please PM me.

ATA will take all 135 guys with the appropriate credentials, medical, license, etc. ATA is about the only carrier that will take you unless you are on an approved list. You will need to call ATA and list the previous night, they don't like listing non-rev people during the day due to the high volume of calls that they get... ATA is a true class act when it comes to this, you won't have a problem. Sorry I don't have the non-rev number handy with me at the present time.

A few others have taken 135 guys who are not on the "magic list" at the captain's discretion but good luck on getting past the gate agent if your company is not on that airline's list...

I have had luck with Frontier Airlines and American Eagle in the past.

I heard JetBlue will take 135 guys too. Any truth to this?

Hi!

Champion Air will take you (they're a charter op out of MSP-mostly to vacation destinations).

Generally, the feeders are easier to jump on than their major partners are.

Pretty much all the freighters will take 135 guys:
Kalitta
Atlas
Polar, etc.

If you don't mind riding around on a "puddlejumper," CommutAir will be happy to take you. And you have the bonus of picking exciting destinations such as Flint, MI, Charleston, WV and Elmira, NY! Just make sure you have an ID with a picture on it 'cause the gate agents can be a real pain in the arse. Good luck.

Most of them require company ID and licences, some will take 135,
All require a company ID....so if you work for a rinky dink 135 that doesn't
have an official company ID I guess you are screwed.....

anyone have any experience with this aspect of the policy?
