mmmdonut:
I didn't pay for membership @ airliners.net; I joined about a year before they started charging for the 'privilege' to post (I guess they grandfathered in already existing users, allowing them to post without extending other 'membership' privileges without 'joining' [aka paying]). However, I have to agree that the number of 15-year-olds who think they are THE authority on commercial aviation is vomit-inducing. I have the desire to comment on many of the threads on the board, but I have neither the patience nor the fortitude to get into a pissing match with deluded high school students or self-righteous frequent fliers. I'll chime in on occasion to answer a question or let my opinion be known, but usually I just sit back and throw my head into my hands in despair. Yes, Scottysair is a little annoying, but the guy's deaf and mentally impaired, so the little sympathy I have for him keeps me from dropping my notebook computer out of the window in frustration.
