Miami Air International is hiring, 50% of what we do is military anyway and we work with all ANG and Reserve guys. Works out pretty nice even if you are called back up, you still have a number and a job if you get released.Kurt Kamrad or John Passwater, Kurt AirForce Academy Grad Passwater ex special ops guy. If you are military you are in before you make the call.

I have spent a good part of my life over the past 4 years hauling guys and girls back and fourth from that part of the world that we happen to be involved in. I have spent more than my share of time in Iraqi airspace and I am a civilian all the way. Vietnam was in full swing when I was 18, I missed the draft by one year and to join at that time was not considered wise. Looking back I wish I had. Our airline flies sport teams, superstars, Hollywood types etc. etc. We also flew the present Commander in Chief and I had the priveledge of flying him myself when he was campaigning. Regaurdless how you feel about his leadership he is a very good man, I really liked the man as a person. When we fly the guys in uniform I consider that the highest privelege and honor, moreso than any of the celebrity types that I/we fly. When a person puts themself in harms way and willingly gives their life for someone who doesn't even know what freedom is all about and just may spit on your coffin there are words that cannot express that kind of devotion and love. It is a supernatural love of country and fellow human being. In January we were loading up at KWI, a 747 was in front of us finishing up his load. When they were almost finished a yellow refrigerated lift truck arrived out came three flag draped boxes with our precious fallen citizens, comrads, someones son or daughter, someones wife or husband. All we could do is stand and salute to the humble way their remains were heading home.

With that how dare anyone even think of saying whatever, an unjust war, HA, our guys/girls have died and given the only thing they had, their lives. I can only agree with all the previous post-SCUMBAG- you should be totally ashamed of yourself. Being not military I can say this, I know the military and they would never put in writing what I have just said, but it is in their hearts, and written all over the world in their actions. Thankyou, all of you for representing our country in a magnificant way. Thanks. A CRAF captain.

Flechas gets banned for cursing, yet this pole smoking douche can spout off this and the baby killing comment on the marine thread without retribution.
Nothing like being a spineless d!ck.

Back to the topic.

Enlisting in the gurad or reserves is an excellent way to get on with a reserve unit, esp if you are working to a degree. However if you have it already, I would try applying directly for a UPT slot first, it might be quicker. Most heavy units will take people off the street. Don't know about fast movers, (or A-10).
