During training as a new first officer with an airline, what is "Basic Indoctrination" as part of the training of new first officers?

It is the part of training that deals with company procedures, FARs, and other non-airplane specific items.

That is where you are issued all that you need to work for the company sans sim training. Manuals, ID's, filling out of all the paperwork for pay and benefits, order uniforms, taught how to bend over and issued a year's supply of KY. They figure you will quit by then which is what they want.... it is better to get new stupid people with dreams of aviation than keep someone who has seen the reality. ERAU has built a legacy of feeding the industry that kind of fodder.
