When I use to fly for AMC, our squadron would put a out a Dash-2. I'm curious if C-17 and C 135 guys still have these???
 
Yeah, but it's not quite the quality document it used to be. Stuff changes too fast I guess, at least in the C17. Just when you get to know the rules, they're changed again.
And, since the -1 through -4 designations are already taken by actual flight manuals, I guess we'll have to call it the "-5" now......
 
yeah i agree with mooseflyer. when i first got to the c17 there was some gouge out there that was pretty handy, but with all the block changes constantly occurring or on the horizon, i'm sure it's much too hard for the editors to keep up, especially with the pace of the wartime effort. on the flip side, the dash-2 was awesome in C141s because you figure after 35 years (and no block changes!) they had it figured out. C17 is still a work in progress, but i don't know of any official and current C17 Dash-2 or whatever it's called.
