Move comes days after agreement to purchase Powerboat
New York, New York - Scottish Recoverys's top executive VP announced Monday he resigned from the company, which was buying an offshore powerboat from Bullock Marine.
Mike Massaro, 46, announced in a conference call with company executives Monday morning that he was leaving, said Scottish Recovery's spokesman Jay Borgman.
“I will not be staying with the company — by choice — as Scottish Recovery already has the leadership required,” Massaro's statement said. “I have many things I still want to pursue and accomplish in life and this gives me the opportunity to move on to the next chapter.”
Borgman said the notice came during a call with about 30 senior executives around the world.
Massaro, who is an avid offshore race fan was not available for comment.
