Hey guys/gals, do you know if it is possible to have a certain aircraft on more than one charter certificate at the same time? Subject to the local FSDO's approval of course....
 
We had a leaseback BE20 that was on 2 certificates back in 2001.
 
I'm thinking you're not getting this approved today, given the recent interest that FAA has given to "operational control".

And what's the point?
 
interchange agreement?

The only way I believe this can be done (legally) is with an interchange agreement, and both POI's must approve. Items such as flight following, Op Control, MX and such are all stipulated in the agreement.

Of course that could be completely wrong, but perhaps not.
 
Not allowed due to the amount of paperwork and manuals for both companies you would have to carry. Would seriously throw off your CG. That would suck, trying to keep things current for two companies and everything. One is enough fun...
