If you service your own Trailblazer prop be aware that pumping too much grease can cause seal leakage or other problems.

Hartzell specifies adding until grease ejects from the exit ports or 1 fl oz whichever is less. This requires calibration of the grease gun.
 
My first year lubricating I did 5 trigger pulls per side, a trigger pull is supposed to be approximately 0.1 ounces. I got the windscreen treatment and posted about it here somewhere. I heard someone say TacAero told them they don't grease the prop as it just ends up on the windscreen. I don't know if that's true that they said that. I believe in following the vendor's maintenance guidance so I do lubricate per the manual but do 3 pulls per side, may do 2 next time.

I think the closing statement of the author's article above is the most relevant. Aircraft need frequent use. I have not done well in this regard personally. Hope I can improve upon this.
