A mechanic for Air China was killed Thursday at Osaka's Kansai International Airport after he was sucked into a jet engine. The accident happened as Air China flight 928, carrying 211 passengers and seven crew, was taxiing from the gate for take off enroute to Beijing. Witnesses reported seeing the mechanic, identified as 39-year-old Zhang Xinmin, running to the engine. Officials were investigating the possibility that Xinmin committed suicide.
