Haven't heard anything from the folks at Airborne for a while. If any of you are still around, what's going on in ILN? Any hiring? Furloughed? More rumors about DHL?

I just received a letter from Airborne dated April 1 2002. It stated that I was still in the pool, please call us once a month to stay in the pool. I interviewed in March 2001, and received my first pool letter in June 2001. I don't know how many are on furlough at Airborne right now, but I think it's well over 50.

There have been some negative postings in AOL's aviation boards about "open flying" while some pilots remain furloughed. Doesn't sound pretty.
