Have any of you heard anything about this? Should be interesting to watch....

Tonight
Air traveler once under suspicion speaks out

CNN exclusive: She was suspected of being a terrorist -- her flight to the U.S. escorted by fighter jets -- because of wires in her jacket. Now, the airline passenger whose story ignited security concerns across the country reveals her side of the story. Tune in to "Paula Zahn Now" at 8 p.m. ET.

"impressed with Paula Zaun".......gag me with a spoon.

Empenage,

LOL Down Boy! Let her express herself a little more. She is only at 69 posts now!

Might be better to meet her for coffee and exchange flying stories before the proposal!

LOL Let him go! She cooks, too. What else could a guy ask for?

:) ;)

Hey Ailerongirl,

I didn't see the program, partially because I was flying last night. I suspect that without seeing the program that the situation was another over reaction to the terrorist threat by the govt. Don't get me wrong. I believe we are much better off to over react than the alternative.

It is too bad that the situations over the holidays of cancelled, delayed or detained flights were due to our lack of proper intel. I do believe we will get it right in the end. For the time being I am just glad that we had no real incidents resulting from terrorism.

All we need right now with the economy turning the corner is for some screwball to reak havoc for some fanatic reason to ruin the progress we have made economically. Not to mention the potential in lost or injured lives.

BTW as a long time CNN viewer I have switched to Fox for most news program viewing. Probably showing my age but it appears the folks at Fox have a more fun time reporting on world events.

Oh, well.....she cooks too? Never mind! Disregard everything I said after "Empenage."

She cooks...she makes a Shepherd's Pie that'll kill ya. :D

Yes, she babysits, she organizes, she pays bills, and she's got great cleavage...er, I mean cleaning skills.

uhm....how about 'she's rich'?
or....
she has a collection from fredricks of hollywood ;)

i'm sure i could think of plenty of extra qualifiers :D
not to disparage her at all, i'm sure she's a fine example of a woman if she's willing to post on here and deal with our shennanigans

Well, I should warn y'all about one thing: she absolutely, positively will not swallow.

Pork.

Won't swallow pork. (Personal thing, you know. :D )

(Aw, what the hell. I guess I can put my ailerongirl avatar back up for a few days...)

You darned guys have run her off for good now. You weiners! I am not buying Typhoon's disguise!

Your loss... :D

(Don't worry...it'll take more than this to run her off!)

Oh, man!!!

That was always a favorite at my house!

But darn, I'm back on the Atkins diet, and I am rejoining the gym on Monday.

No potatoes on top for me anymore. I don't want to end up like that avatar with the rather large gentleman at the computer.

Luckily, I have an additional 150 lbs to add to get into that expanded shape....

Now at 208 and dropping.

Hey Timebuilder

How long have you been doing Atkins? I started it 4 months ago and am down 30 pounds now, and all my trousers are too loose.

I bought the book first and read it, then got the carb counter bible, and after the first couple weeks, I have not missed potatoes or bread at all. I do miss malted milks from the Dairy Queen though :)

I had been on it and doing well while flying, and lost some 20 lbs.

After I was booted, I slipped back into my old eating habits and failed to get enough exercise; a bad combination.

I went back on the plan just after Christmas, and started losing weight last week. The addition of exercise will help to accelerate my results.

I had two motivators: the "belly" I developed hurt my chances of on-camera work for commercials, and my doctor chuckled when I asked him if he thought I should lose some weight.

So, on Monday, I start throwing the steel around again.

Maybe in a few months I can go back to Judo, too.
