Any idea how this is looking for the future? Are the 737 intro's going to up it? Lost lotta bucks today.

Sounds like maybe you bought (or sold) at the wrong time. Air Tran stock is up from under $4 at the end of the 2nd qtr of 2002, to over $20.50 as recently as last week. At last check, it is around $17.50, and was only down $.66 today. Besides, I wouldn't think that a change of just over 3.6% would translate into "lotta bucks", or be a source of panic. It has certainly performed well over the past 12-14 months.

Who knows what the 737s will do for the stock price (although I'm sure there are plenty of people who will tell you they know the answer to this question). Besides, I wouldn't think this is the greatest place for advice on airline stocks. However, in general, over the past few months, airline stocks have been doing quite well. What does the future hold? If I (or anyone else) knew the answer to that, I sure wouldn't be wasting my time here.

I've read and re-read your post, but still don't quite get your point... if there really is one.

Why did you choose to sell AAI stock today at a loss? If you didn't sell, then you haven't lost anything.

As far as the 737 question... what do you think? If you have bought and own AirTran stock, then you obviously know or think you know the answer to your own question.

How would anyone here have anything else to add other than what you think? Its the stock market, you get what you get. You should know that... if you invest.

So....I'll guess your point is to start another debate on AirTran, and I really don't care so I won't play.
