Has anyone recently gone through the process at Air India? What is it like? The pay? Training? Quality of life? Bases? Especially those who went onto the 737NG. I would greatly appreciate any information.

I would research it some more as the airline industry in India is going through a huge market correction.

Air India is about to offer unpaid leave to 15000 employees.

then what the heck are they doing having a booth at the FLTOPS job fair in ORD next week?

Things in India move slowly.
Also the I believe the job fair is held by recruiters and not Air India itself.

I am sure they will say , "if you buy a 777 type then we will guarantee a job"

Joe the Pilot, (or jane), buys the type and finds out no such job exists as conditions have changed.


I could be wrong though.
I would be very careful about giving anyone any money for "assessment charges".
