Just got an email from Air Inc that says PSA will be interviewing and hiring on the spot in DFW on Jan 28. Should the people with packets already in and hoping for a call to interview try to get to DFW on the 28th?

How do the Air Inc Job Fairs work?

May be a little deceiving...We will be Interviewing, Anyone who passes the Interview still must pass a Sim eval and the Background check.

And if you show up and expect an Interview, May be a good Idea to bring your logbooks and if you previously sent in your application, bring a copy of that as well (or send a resume to [email protected] and print and fill out another copy!)

PSA is not a good place to be. Anyone who thinks it will be a fast upgrade is wrong. With no more airplanes coming this year and the threat of more jet for my jobers coming this year you can expect at least 4 years until upgrade, and that's being optimistic.

From Mambo20 Dec. 30...."Could be better could be worse. Just about the whole airline is moving down to CLT could be a lot worse places to be based. Great city especially if you live here.

As far as whats happening here goes. . . who knows. No new airplanes that we know of not sure if we are going to lose any or not. There is actually a little bit of movement from attrition but thats it. Things of course change overnight."


I guess things changed overnight! (or in 11 days!) Any place that is hiring is probably a good place to be right now, If you want to stay in this business...If you don't think so ask all the recent Furloughees!

I didn't want your pension. I was just fine flying turbo props. I had no vote on the whole jet for my job protocol. You arrogant "full pay until the last day" folks ruined it for yourselves. Do you honestly think (assuming your Us Air mainline, otherwise we shouldn't be having this pension discussion.) the wages and work rules you had could last forever? This whole down turn started way before I started "flying your pension"

Maybe and Maybe not, Depends on if any MDA guys take the FO position's. We should know more by the first of March...Which isn't that far away.
