"I will say this, the Job Fairs that Air Inc put on didn't hurt either. I met some great people from several airlines there and talking to folks really helped me decide what I wanted to do. If you get a chance to go to one, it's worth it".

For all those thinking they should follow the Air Inc boycott route, think again. Here is a guy, who gets hired by ATA and then gets hired by Jet Blue, and he says Air Inc played a part in him having these opportunities. For those who want to bond with the "brother hood" and follow the "neg vibes" on the Air Inc scene, you are depriving yourself of valuable resource. Make your own decisions. This is particuarily true for those leaving the military, you have probably not been around the civilian job market in person and can learn alot about what is going on in the civilian world. Qualified people still get interviews and job offers as a result of the Job Fairs. As posted before I wish this resource had ben around when I left the Navy in 1977, I could have learned what took me about a year in one day.
