Air France 320 in MIA

What's the story with that air france a320 in MIA? I've seen it the last three times i've been there.

I was in Haiti day before yesterday and we were parked right next to it

based in FDF if I am not mistaken. Have seen them before in various places in the Caribbean, flight numbers usually start with 33XX.

Do the Air France guys have a small base down there or do they DH in from Paris?

seems kind of a waste to base a 320 there for 2 cities when they could just codeshare.

It's actually five destinations plus Miami. PAP, PTP, FDF, CAY and SDQ. They've been doing it forever usually basing just 1 or 2 airplanes there. Goes back to Caravelles, 727s, 737s and A320s.
