Tanker Clown, did you authorize this?

Well that was not a good publicity act! NYC mayor is P O'd!

This was obviously GW Bush's fault. Way to go leave office for 101 short days and start scaring the people of NYC out of the buildings again. GOSH

Dumping needless CO2 into the air over NYC just for a photo doesn't sound very green to me.

Maybe Obama's more of an olive - green on the outside, red on the inside.

Some of you guys crack me up!

Rescued sailor = "Obama had nothing to do with it."

Botched photo shoot = "Obama was flying the plane."

I don't care if you're "Red" or "Blue" - just don't be a hypocrite.

Two officials told CNN the White House Military Office was trying to update its file photos of Air Force One. The officials said the president was angry when he learned Monday afternoon about the flight, which sparked fear in the New York-New Jersey area.

"The president was furious about it," one of the officials said. The incident outraged many New Yorkers, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg. iReport.com: Share your photos, video and reaction to low-flying 747

"First thing is, I'm annoyed -- furious is a better word -- that I wasn't told," he said, calling the aviation administration's decision to withhold details about the flight "ridiculous" and "poor judgment."

"Why the Defense Department wanted to do a photo op right around the site of the World Trade Center defies the imagination," he said. "Had we known, I would have asked them not to.

You are the President of the United States! You don't ask, you TELL them not to!

The only boo-boo was trying to keep a blue & white 747 with fighter escort a "secret". Who are they trying to keep it a secret from? Didn't think this would scare the sheeple if you just sprung it on 'em?

If they had waited till July 4th, publicized it all over the place and had the Thunderbirds doing the escort and photo shoot it would have been greeted with cheering throngs lining the shore line.

Somebody in the military office was still operating under the old everything is a secret doctrine. Guess they hadn't figured out the tide had changed...
