The reason I suggested ALLATPS is because you'll finish with lots of multi time. For where you want to end up, you'll need to have a good ratio of multi time to your total time. The more multi as a low timer, the better.

If you can get lots of multi experience at a regular school, I'd go that route. Your foundational knowledge (what you learn during your private and commercial, and what you relearn doing your CFI!) is important. You don't want to gloss over that part of your training. Once you have a firm foundation, go to a place like ALLATPS or some other accelerated school where you can get the multi time quickly and have a chance to instruct in twins as well.

i keep forgetting that i don't have to get all my ratings and time at one place. i'll scope out their website and this forum to see what people say about it. thanks for your help!

Check out some places in Florida.

What about ALLATPS?

The only experience I had with ATP was taking my FE Written (for the third or forth time) years ago at their facility in Mesa (Williams Gateway.) Then I see them here in the FLL Jet Center (now Sheltair) building. The have facilities all over the place though, like American Flyers. So you do not need to learn in FL.

AZ would be better as you get a wider range of experience, high hot heavy, mountain flying. The beaches are great in FL, the Islands are not that far away. But man, this place is flatter than a pancake. The highest spot in South Florida is a landfill (or TV and radio transmission towers.) One thing FL has over AZ is the amount of flying people do during the Summer months, everything dries up for CFIs. This could be a deal breaker for many.

What ever you do, look for a well organized and safety conscious operation.
