Interview time.

The interview went well. All the previous gouges were correct in saying to study the instrument questions. The sim was different. Don't plan on flying into Madison. Seems like he is kinda random on where he will have you fly into. It is nothing hard, just a few approaches and a hold. Talk your way through and you will do fine. Sounds like they are hiring for a pool of pilots for possible ground schools in the near future. Come dressed in a full suit!!! The building is kinda hard to find. Driving down S Howell you will see the hangar for ACC, but the building were the interviews are held is across the road behind the restaurant with the C-152 on it. You will only know right away if you are not hired, if you do not pass the written or the sim check you are asked to leave. Didn't happen with my group, we all made it, as far as I know. Thanks to everyone who put in their 2 cents on here. I felt well prepared for the interview.
The interviewer suspected that there were gouges out on the internet about the company. Not a big deal, just don't count on what you see on the internet to happen in the interview.

Congrats! So did they give you any idea on when a groundschool would be or when you might find out?
Thanks for the info! Mine is one wed.

I called about that too. Marilyn said they didn't care, I went in with a 1st class, 2nd class priv's (actually 11 months old, so only 1 month left on it), and I was hired, but they didn't give me a class date for 2 months so I ended up going somewhere else.

FYI, but it's good you're getting a new one. It can't hurt.

Sounds good wheels up. The interviewers didnt know of any class dates only that they were hiring for a pool. The whole process took about 6 horus. A lot of sitting around though, while others went through the interview and also the sim. I arrived there at 7:40 and showed up the same time as another. Looks like they have 5 people per day, for about two weeks interviewing.

So where did you go instead Wheelsup?

Gotta admit the company isn't too free flowing with the info for class dates. Kind of odd to fill up a pool, only for people to leave because of lack of communication......

Am i missing something?

It was totally understandable from my point of view. I interviewed mid June and couldn't attend a June or July class (can't remember which) and with the DHL shakeup they didn't need to hire anyone until they knew the runs that they were gaining and losing. I just wasn't sure if they would even hire after the Sept. 9th shakedown, so I started applying other places. I ended up getting a call from ACC on my second day of ground school at a good regional, needless to say I didn't jump ship. Plus, their new bases were moving west, and I wanted to go east, so that was the kicker.

At my interview, I was the only one of 3 to show up. I was totally impressed with their operation, however, and definately would've gone if I hadn't gotten on where I am now.

I met one of their captains, a 22 year old with a type, and about 500 PIC turbine. Real good guy. That's the way to do it! I wish I had known about the place before extending my CFI days 12 months by signing a contract...
