Cripes, have all of you gone mad? With the exception of a select few large operators, air ambulance is the pits! Hopefully the recent FAA crackdown will go a long way to improving conditions in this end of the biz.

I dont think mine is one of your chosen "large" operators...but my company/job is fantastic. I work at a company with a great attitude towards business and their employees that is really going strong, I fly with fantastic pilots, and Im salaried and home most every night with jet equipment.

I also work alot less than I did in the 121 world. Dunno.

Have you worked for just tons of air ambulance operators or what? Why the negativity?

Two companies myself, and friends who have worked elsewhere at a couple more companies. I have also worked charter and corporate. Oh well, this end of the business takes all kinds.
