Made good use of that once time when we got sent to the National Training Center at Fort Irwin to augment the Opposition Forces (OpFOr - like the home team needed any help beating the other guys in their own sandbox). A mechanized infantry company that will remain nameless spent the better part of two days preparing defenses to defend against a planned OpFor attack yet in the process failed to initiate a good sleep plan. With most of those soldiers completely exhausted, we were able to covertly advance to their forward line about 0200 (most were snoozing) and reverse most of the training claymores they had setup so that the devices faced the sleeping defenders! Needless to say the battle that ensued a few hours later did not go quite as well as had been planned for some of those soldiers! :rolleyes:
