I know for a fact that Kalitta has operated their 747s into Kabul more than once. The yellow DC-8 is DHL (ACMI) out of Bahrain. They also operate into other garden spots in the Mideast as well.

I dunno if it was DHL. Didnt have any paint job, just white fuselage with yellow engines/tail. Do they operate anything like that?

Johnson Air ACMI for DHL. Might be a new paint scheme since it looks almost identical to Air Hong Kong, which 45% of it is own by DHL. The other 55%, Cathay Pacific.

I’m a born and raised in Europe myself and am very familiar with bbc. Although I do enjoy many of their programs I'd hardly call their news reporting impartial. Very leftist (after all they're paid by the British taxpayers) and pro middle-eastern (read Muslim).

Still better than most, if not all, of the domestic US "news" networks. Add some german news (DW TV is pretty good) to the beeb and you get a pretty balanced view on the current affairs.

Some don't like balanced views, they just like to have their prejudice reinforced. Like our friend above who seems to have not noticed the availability of certain pertintent information about flight plans and a/c movements around the world; thus sought to remind the FI community that it should be avoided to discuss such here.

I read and watch Deutsche Welle very often but what makes you think it offers a “balanced view?” Is it the fact it’s a German network?

Not sure if you’re talking about me (I assume so since my screen name is right above your post). Personally I don’t think it has to do with reinforcing a prejudice – rather it has to do with my refusal to join the “everything is America’s fault” crowd.

I still think it's great there's at least one news channel out there where America Hate isn't the norm - in my view it's the network you call Fox Noise.
