AeroPlanner.com users.. Leg Table question?

Just wondering how people feel about the Leg table in Aeroplanner basic versus Premium membership? The Leg Table that comes in the PREMIUM TripTick to me seems a little odd, especially compared to your standard Jeppesen/ASA Navigation Log..

Can you use the Leg table EXCLUSIVELY and NOT fill out another handwritten navigation log? or do you really still need to put the pen to paper to make a Nav Log?

This is for VFR XC use by the way I am asking about..
