I'm getting setup for doing some more aerial photography this spring. I'm wondering who else is thinking about doing it either full or part-time? By yourself or with others?

Anyone else? Tips and ideas?

I've been shooting aerials for a couple of years now. I have a few monthly construction projects that keep the $$$ rolling in on a regular basis. I always fly with a pilot when shooting aerials, It's much safer and requires less work.

Tell us more about your ideas.

Q, I'm in Colorado. Where you at?

Yeah , flying with another pilot is the way to go. I've been thinking about a new camera and working on a website. I put up a test site last fall, it was pretty weak but still did pretty well. So I built a new site with some more automated features and I am just getting it setup. Basically I'm looking to capitalize on unsolicited business without going door to door to sell. My thoughts are to target people selling their homes. I figure that's 3 potential customers, the seller, the real estate agent and the buyer plus the houses on the way there and the way back. It seems to be reasonable to shoot 8 to 10 houses an hour.

And I've been thinking about that new sony 10 mp slr. Stabilizer built in to the body, so you can use a wider variety of (lower cost) lenses
