Announced today....all 8 SF-340's in JFK with American Eagle are pulling out Jan 2nd. BOS, ORD, and LGA will be all EMB. The only Saab bases will be DFW (about 36 planes) and LAX (about 16 planes). Looks like one more step closer to the end of the Saab. 40 CA and 35 FO's will be displaced on the Nov 5th bid. Time to suck it up some more..........
 
AMR just refurbished a new terminal there and will need feed to those international flights.

They will wait a few months and sign a deal for a "connection" carrier to come back in and refill that flying.

Do you really think they are that stupid ?

Rumor has it Shuttle America will get the nod.

AND adding insult to injury, it will be with former AE SF3's that will be TRANSFERRED a'la TSA style.
 
I heard the same rumor, but it included Colgan as well as Shuttle America.

I don't even work for Eagle anymore, and I still heard the rumor!
