Hi. I was wondering if there is anything in place for AA furloughs to get interviews with Eagle since they are resuming hiring. I know this happens at many others and I was wondering if its happening at AA/AE. Can anyone fill me in on this tidbit.

I am not a current AA person but I am asking this to see if outside applicants have a chance.

Thank you

D

PS i am posting this on the majors board as well.

Rule #1 - AMR is all about money

Rule #2 - Everything else is rubbish

I'm sure AA pilots can interview if they submit paperwork. I would be suprised however, if AMR actually lets them hire many due to training costs. After training them at Eagle, when AA recalls, they will be retrained at AA the AE will have to hire a replacement. That is 3 training cycles compared to 1 if they hire someone else off the street.

Just my two cents.
