I just heard a rumor that AE is no longer doing the Astronaut physical..... any truth to this rumor?

The Doc they were using took a job offer with NASA. AE has had to drop the medical exam ever since. Too mad for me. I failed because my ear's are too large (picture to the left) and now fly for TSA with my 44hrs of MULTI!!!!! THANKS ALL ATP's

-C.Malone., oh wait. thats too obvious

True, now they do a pee test and i think a real basic vision/hearing test. In and out 30 mins or less!

Man they have changed...... Used to take all morning... Bet it cost them MAJOR money for each applicant. I think they were even doing bloodwork on ground, ramp and office personnel.

Are they even doing a vision test anymore? I heard it was just a pee test and a hearing test...

Any recent new hires care to disclose?

Damn I was hoping for a full colonoscopy and a hernia check....

Well I guess its time for a new career path :(

Almost on the ramp personnel, they waited until the first injury before drawing blood.
