Advisory Circular - Flare?

Someone told me that there is an AC out there that goes over the flare in detail.

Has anyone heard of this thing, and knows the number?

I'm not sure about an AC, but some years ago, the FAA used to publish materials through the Aviation Safety Program. The program still exists, but they don't do a lot of publishing anymore.

For landings, there are three primary ones. They are called "On Landings - Part I" (II and III). These may be what you're looking for. You can find HTML versions at

Generaltso, did you try a basic internet search? I did: there's just too darned many AC's to sift through...the proverbial needle in a haystack. There are a lot of places that have all the Advisory Circulars on CD-rom...maybe you could check that out.
