Trying to decide what to do at this point in my career?

Was on medical for leave for 5 years but back at it now and not sure which way to go

Stay
Small regional, im number 28 in company out of 280, 1,000tt, airline instruction in the past 5 years while on medical. Fast upgrade here

Leave
Get some Jet time, wait for the upgrade a few years, have reserve, more experience with different flight environments.

I am 28 not sure if i should go for pic here or elsewhere in a few years?

Check your PMs.

There's no question. Fly your tail off to get "back in the game" mentally, then take the first upgrade class available to you. Fly your top five choices every month. In a couple years when you have added significantly to your Total and Turbine PIC numbers, reasses.

"More experience with different flight environments" is horsesht. If a CFI can be made to fly an RJ, putting a Turboprop guy in a Boeing or Airbus is a non-issue. The transition from Brasilia to Airbus was easier than the transition from the Beech to the Brasilia.
