In my example; If Flops is spending 500K plus a day on charters to cover flights due to lack of crews AND forcing "mandatory vacations" at the same time then you had best look for a new job now. If that's the case then management is trying to kill the company and they will succeed.

It's all a game. I heard of a guy who put in for vacation and was denied due to staffing. Then he is sent an e-mail telling him he is being sent on forced vacation due to over staffing. Which was for the same week.
While some guys are on forced vacation they are also asking guys to work overtime.
