advertising 135 aircraft

I was wondering how I could advertise an airplane that is on a 135 ticket over the internet? Hoping it would get to the right folks who would charter an aircraft? Can anyone help me.

Type in "charter" and "jet" on your favorite search engine like yahoo or google, you'll get bunches of hits from people "advertising" on the web. To do the same, talk to your ISP company or find a company that creates web sites.

You have to remember, you are basically just putting an ad in the world wide yellow pages. You will be one of thousands of charter operators looking for customers.

Like every other business, you need a business plan, your target customer(s) and then a way to attract those customers to you - price, quality, service, specialized capability, etc.

So are you going to build "a better mousetrap", "a cheaper mousetrap" or "a not really a mousetrap but we do eliminate mice" business?

Are you basing an aircraft in a single location? Do you only have 1 aircraft? If this is yes, you most likely need to target the local population. Direct mailing to likely companies/individuals is the most effective I have found. Those in the know who are looking for charters will find them on Internet sites like The Air Charter Guide - www.guides.com I believe. There are other sites and directories, but this seams to be the best.
