Does anyone have any guidance on how to go about adding RNAV (GPS) Approaches to our companies OpSpecs. Before I call the FAA I wanted to see if there was any info out there about the process, requirements, etc.

Thanks.

I believe you must first have an approved training program for them in your Air Carrier Training Manual or equivalent. The last company I worked for developed the program, submitted it, and then received updated opspecs that included GPS, RNAV, and overlay approaches in the approved procedures.

Thanks for the reply. I got AC 90-100A which gives some guidance but it is only for RNAV DP's, STAR's, and Q-Routes. I'm going to try calling the FAA today and see what they say.

Do you use IOPSS? You should find some info in there under the "Guidance Documents" section.
