How many poolies have been activated? How many have been stop lossed? Just trying to get an idea of when SWA might start interviewing again if things happen quickly and the pool drains.
Thanks. I'm sorry you guys and gals in the pool are being activated again. But the good thing is that SWA will keep your place whenever these events are concluded. Stay safe and thanks for protecting our country.
it means that you THOUGHT you were going to leave active duty (retire or by meeting the end of your current service obligation) and the "needs" of the service outweigh your personal agenda.
In other words, you "ain't" going nowhere until Uncle Sammy is done with you!!
Same sceanario happened in Gulf War I, and 9/11/01...... bummer to those kept in, I for one have massive respect, sympathy & support for these guys and girls.... hurry back - fly/work safe!!!
Bummer for whom ma man....the stoploss guys are employed and getting a nice paycheck...
Their stoploss might move unemployed poolies up the ladder and into an earlier class...not a bummer for them!!
This really doesn't fall into the stop loss theme here but I didn't think it merited another thread either. Does anyone have any info on the poolies who appearantly haven't been called, or haven't updated, in the first 20 on the list? Bambam, AJ, Farm81, etc...? Obsiously they all interviewed before the guys at the end of the call list, just curious.
Thanks to all be called back to duty, be safe and see ya'll back here soon.
CaptWidgeon,
these guys may have moved on (JB, FEDEX, USAFR activation ...) and/or they don't keep up with the site. For the 19 months I have been following this site the calls come almost exactly in list order with some rare exceptions (sorry Pegasus). But there are usually some holes because not everyone is a flightinfo junkie
Hey ivauir thanks. I had kinda figured that but was looking for a confirmation. And what do you mean...are you saying there are some strange folk out there who don't check this message board oh, 10, maybe 15 time a day?...
