Until the FSDO busts you for a totally BS "violation"...then your lawyer is the best friend you've ever had. Yup...kill the lawyers...until a corrupt cop decides to stop you for "touching the centerline," after you've had two (really) beers with your crew after a flight and are on the way home to your wife and kids. Yup, you won't need that lawyer to defend yourself because cops never lie, right? Nope, they don't (ever heard the term, "testa-lying?" That's what some cops call testifying - under oath, that is).

Know that little ol' thing they read on Cops every night, in every cop TV show, and to you when you get busted? Your Miranda rights? "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you at interrogation time and at court."

Yup, kill the lawyers.

Good luck with that next alleged law violation that, without competent counsel advocating for you, will kill your career. Good luck with that. Because, you know, if the government accuses some of a violation of law, they must be guilty.

As a card-carrying member of the ACLU I must question the wisdom of going after Jepp for this kind of thing.

That’s funny, I remember traveling in the former eastern block countries (including the Soviet Union) and every now and then we’d run into some “card-carrying Party members” – amazing, you are even using their terminology, Comrade.

I'll let them know (not that I have any influence).

They defend civil liberties only when it weakens the country. Since you are a proud card-carrying member, why don’t you educate us on the backgrounds of the people who created ACLU? If you say they were not communists, you’re either lying to yourself or have not explored the past of the organization you belong to.
Granted, today’s ACLU politburo is not as openly anti-American as in the past; however the main goal of turning this country into a leftist bastion and eventually into a borderless socialist utopia has not changed. The main difference is the original ACLU wanted to make those changes overnight, today's ACLU has way more patience but just as much determination. Personally I consider today’s ACLU top brass modern versions of yesterday’s Quislings.

Has nothing to do with killing the lawyers. There are plenty of outstanding lawyers who do not belong to ACLU.

Lawyers’ job is to defend their clients - ACLU’s main purpose is to rewrite the history and make Americans ashamed of being Americans. and undoubtedly they excel at finding dirt on America.

We "force" the terrorists to wear diapers because these idiots sh!+ all over themselves and the airplane as part of their "resistance" training. They do that to make life difficult on our people. Plus, a diaper is better than any bathroom I've ever seen in one of their "peaceful" countries.
